Emotion, In Motion

Emotion
in motion, all around
from the heavens above
to all the earthbound

stars elicit spectacular views,
oceans creates all colors and hues
as ripples dance across the face
of a sea not seeming to know its place

Never concerned, the fish beneath
swim with the current away from the beach
avoiding the grit of the sand at shore
they turn back, attending the land no more

The guppies in school, taught never to breathe
but stay below, remaining beneath
Papa knows best, and swims far away
hoping the little ones follow his way

Deciding between feeling and not,
nature will always choose the lot
where emotion is a sign of life
and finding it brings joy, not strife
